Martyn’s Law –

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025

The Act comes into force in 2027. It requires certain public venues including Places of Worship and events to improve security and preparedness against terrorist attacks.

Individual churches in the Standard Tier (200 - 799 individuals may be present at the same time from time to time) need to do to comply and also those with a capacity of 800+.

This session will be a summary of the key points and what churches need to do to be compliant.
