Vadstena Pilgrimage Retreat (Link Diocese of Linköping): Monday 7th April 2025 - Friday 11th April 2025

Description

This is the opportunity to spend five days in our link Diocese of Linkoping at the Vadstena Pilgrimage Centre on Lake Vattern. The Centre adjacent to the Abbey that is the shrine of St Birgitta (Brigit) the patron saint of Sweden. It will be a time of prayer and reflection focused on St Birgitta led by members of the Church of Sweden. It will include a number of pilgrimage walks. There will also be the chance to spend some time in Linkoping including a visit to the Cathedral.

There are up to 14 places. Accommodation will be in dormitories. You will need to get yourself to the airport (shared transport will be encouraged) and contribute £90 towards the cost of the retreat. The costs of accommodation, flights, transport in Sweden, and food will be covered. This is retreat is for ordained clergy.
