Led by the Rev'd Sarah Burrow and the Rev'd Canon Guy Buckler
With help from Saints Francis and Clare, on how we choose to live with joy in a world facing ever increasing distress.
As a parish priest, The Rev’d Canon Guy Buckler served in parishes in the dioceses of St Albans and Newcastle. In retirement he enjoys spending more time with the family, walking the dog and assisting occasionally in local churches. Guy has been a Franciscan Tertiary for more than 40 years and is involved in 'Franciscan Aid', a charity that works both to relieve poverty and advance access to education in some of the world's poorest countries. Following working in parish ministry The Rev’d Sarah Burrow is now a chaplain in a large care and nursing home. Sarah offers spiritual accompaniment and also Supervision for other Spiritual Directors. She has recently been admitted as a novice in the TSSF. Sarah enjoys music and sing with the Bedford Choral Society, reading, vegetable gardening, and walking.
