Introduction to Transforming Conflict

Facing times of tension and conflict can be challenging and particularly for those in leadership, as we deal with our own anxieties as well as those of others.

This three-day workshop is designed to equip you as a leader within your church enabling you to face situations of conflict with greater confidence and resilience. Including presentation, reflection and hands-on skills training, the workshop aims to provide opportunities:

The workshop runs over 3 days, 9.30am (arrivals and refreshments from 9.15am) to 4.30pm each day.

Bridge Builders offers a wide range of training, from one-day workshops to five-day residential courses. Our purpose is to see people resourced to live the transforming gospel of reconciliation in every aspect of their lives.

Liz Griffiths is the Director of Training for Bridge Builders. She is an Anglican priest and has served in city centre and urban estate parishes and in theological education, helping to train ordained and lay ministers. Liz is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Bridge Builders training, and is also involved in mediation, facilitation, coaching and consultancy with churches and church leaders. Liz sees the work of Bridge Builders as part of her vocation in living out of the Gospel of reconciliation.

Sue Haslehurst is Training Officer for Bridge Builders. For ten years Sue led a Mennonite congregation in London and she has also been a lay leader in the Baptist congregation to which she now belongs. Sue sees her work with Bridge Builders as a continuation of her Mennonite commitment to living out the gospel of reconciliation.
